WARNING: After 8 years of neglect, I have returned to warn you that this hack is terrible, as I lacked experience at the time and probably still do today, since I never really managed to reignite my interest in rom hacking due to extended reflections on the floppy work done on this. Skipping this crap and going on with your lives is recommended.


There's no need to know much of the premise,

nothing here makes sense so just

enjoy the ride.

Basic changes, it's my first hack,

you have been warned.
Here's the list of changes:

  1. New characters (Playables and Enemies).
  2. Story turned into nonsense so bad it almost becomes a double negative.
  3. Some new weapons.
  4. A fe extra scenes in some parts of the game/hack.
  5. Intense nerf to sanity.

Patch Notes:
  • Bolt has a smaller number of uses, so it's not so overpowered.
  • Nerfed some characters' initial weapons.
  • Fixed Marf's cape.
  • Changed the Map of Chapter 4.
  • The Mani Katti doesn't have its Armor Effectiviness anymore.
  • Holy, Diego and Geitz still retain their awesome strength, but their movement rate has been strongly nerfed.
  • Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fix the bug that prevented Natalie's tent from showing up in the other chapters. However, I've added new functions for her tent while she's available in the battlefield.
  • The Sol Katti's use rate has been reduced to 1, so use it on the right time.
  • Uther has 3 different weapons and an Elixir now, making him stronger and harder to beat.

First step is to open the ROM you wish to edit in correct Event References editor. Then search for pointer to the chapter events you wish to edit. I choose to use FE7 prologue for this example, though this applies to every chapter in every GBA FE game Event Assembler supports. Here is what the Nightmare will look like in this case. Download Step 2. Click on teh file thingy to extract Step 3. Double Click on 'Nightmare' to open. Under file, click 'Open Rom' and choose the American version of FE7.
